For those of you who want to know how to play this hypnotic bass riff by Maestro Pastorius, here's an explanation. My Bongo was recorded direct from the sound card without any tweaks and its signal is so strong that my fingers' attack is very prominent. I tried Sony SoundForge's EQ to solve that, but I felt it changed the instrument's natural tone a lot. The live sound (from the camera) was better in that area (attack isn't as noticeable) but overall quality is poor. Of course, it's my fingers' fault as well, but anyway... Hope you find it useful.

Totally nailed that riff! My only criticism is it seemed like you swung it a little bit near the end. But still I can't play it as cleanly as you.
